Fan compatible, allows full opening when used in all weather conditions. I like the feature of easily removing the cover when towing the RV into the garage (evacuation) or while driving. Less stress on the fan mount on the TAG trailer fan. Only the fastening elements had to be adjusted on the side of the fan housing. The TAG fan bracket did not use the screws on the fan case mounting edge. Several Lowe's L-brackets were used, which were attached to the included flat-panel brackets with 30# Ace Hardware Gorilla double-sided tape and nylon lock-nut screws. Use two screws and tape to attach the custom brackets to the side of the fan case (just below the edge of the fan shroud). The fan cover is very secure when installed.
