Review on Unveiling the Ultimate Premium Waiters Corkscrew and Must-Have Professional Accessories by Chris Shepherd

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal packaging/price for the consumer. Good enough for a waiter.

Excellent. Honestly, it's almost as good as Pulltap. The only problem is that the teeth act as counter pressure to push the cork out. They are slightly flared outwards and therefore have no support/hold on the bottle neck. This sometimes results in slower plug removal. The PullTap is angled inwards for a perfect grip on the lip. I'm assuming it's patented, otherwise Devine would have done it that way. They've clearly put a lot of effort into the design and materials. This is a very well made product. I also opened dozens of bottles at the table in a tense atmosphere. It's an Italian restaurant where a sommelier curates the list and teaches us how to open bottles properly, so I need a tool that can do the job. It's almost perfect. Good buy.

Pros
  • STRONGER AND EASIER: Unlike other chrome-plated corkscrews, the DeVine screw is 100% chrome, so it's thinner, stronger and won't break or split the cork.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
