Luxury cat carrier, cat tent and bunk bed! 3 paws up from Weston cats!

I ordered this new carrier for our 3 cats for Christmas. Our old soft-walled stretcher was fine, just old and starting to wear out. I was trying to imagine the size of this new carrier when I ordered it. When it arrived I didn't know what to do - it was a lot bigger and heavier than I expected! Sending it back would be expensive so I decided to wait until Christmas to see what my husband and cats thought of it first. First, it is a DELUXE carrier! It's much better quality and made from better materials than most high-end personal tents. LOVE the ability to zip up screens and roll up canvas flaps. I love that it opens on 3 sides. Love is very strong and made of such strong material. LOVE the very soft and thick removable pillow! They laughed when they found 4 metal spikes in the kit but didn't know what they were for until they saw loops on 4 corners of the base - those are tent pegs! Brilliant! Although we thought it might be too big for a trip to the vet, we figured we'd let them use it as a 'cat tent' on our shaded porch in the summer (they destroyed the last 2 nylon cat tents one after the other that used them in the past). We installed the carrier inside the house with 2 sides open (unzipped with flap rolled up) and waited to see what would happen. It was a constant parade of cats, sometimes playing, sometimes sleeping. Our 6 year old cat Mabel and our new kitten Louie recently converted it into a bunk bed (see photo). I will make another fleece pillow for the top bed! Though we didn't think we'd use it as a porter, our eldest, fiercest, and fairly large tri-colored cat, Mimi, was scheduled to head out on December 26th. to the vet for teeth cleaning. Despite the beautiful new red transport box that we only opened the day before, we put it in an old transport box. She was about to break out of him and got so out of control that she rolled the stroller onto the floor while sitting in it, crying the whole time. We drew straws to see who would try to transfer them to a new carrier. The old beam actually fit into the new one and we kind of threw it into the new one. It was a miracle, she was much better than she could move. She couldn't push all 4 sides at once to try to get out. All the people at the vet admired it - a stretcher, not calico ;) So on all fronts, from a very sturdy stretcher to a bunk bed and cat tent, everyone loves it! GRATITUDE!
