Works as described.

This is my first Pullman pan, and I am very happy with the product, very sturdy for a large loaf of bread. Heats evenly, bread is browned on all 4 sides, easy to open the lid for different types of bread. Cleans easily. Some recipes suggest spraying the pan to prevent sticking, I have not needed to do that as the bread does not stick, no need for additional oil, etc.

Pros

Can be used for French bread, sourdough, oatmeal bread, and more

Cons

The cover may be awkward to handle when hot, potentially causing burns
