Review on Optimum Nutrition Standard Organic Servings by Anna Fetzner

Fine, but definitely something you'll like

It's good, but after a few uses I have two problems with it: 1) It's a lot cuter than I thought based on other reviews and product descriptions - honestly , a bit sweet, which can be too much stevia if not softened with something else. I've tried it a number of ways and have found that it's best to mix frozen fruit with acid to balance out the flavor, like berries and some mango with unsweetened almond milk, or add a slice of lemon to the smoothie. green variant. I would definitely not add more banana as it was almost inedible. I do prefer things less sweet though so if you are a person who likes higher sugar levels and don't mind stevia which can have a slightly bitter aftertaste and requires some trial and error if you are new to the world of sugar free sweeteners plant-based, you can probably get by with it. 2) Another thing about this is consistency. After you mix it for the first time, it comes across as cocktail-like, albeit chalkier than normal. However, if you're a slow drinker (like me, especially when it's so high in protein) the mixture will need to be stirred every 5-10 minutes or the water content will start to separate leaving a jelly-like consistency. the mound looks down at you from the bottom of the jar like a curled up banana snail, likely due to the chia powder content. Tasty, but nothing more. how do you say. inviting? Ultimately, this material is of really good quality. I'm not vegan, but lately I've been working hard to avoid animal products whenever possible. This stuff makes you feel full without making you feel full, and is a reliable animal-free option for people trying to add more protein to their diet without contributing to the ecological death of human civilization as we know it . That said, I would recommend buying reusable straws to even out the situation.
