After trying MANY types of bobby pins and bows on her thin hair, I decided to try this one. They are easy to use, just bend them back before inserting, then bend/snap back and they stay in place. As long as I can distract her by sticking it in, she doesn't feel it. And they even sleep in their sleep! I first bought them for a little girl who had very little hair and then I bought them for a one year old with thick hair. They still work for thick hair, you just have less hair to cut, but it doesn't fall in her face, which was the goal.
