Review on Sony WI1000X/B: Black Wireless Behind-Neck In-Ear Headphones with Premium Noise Cancelling by Gim Sohyeôn ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

I feel cheated. I'll explain why. I have always been a fan of Sony and first of all considered the proposals of this particular company. That's why I was in a hurry to buy. I will not comment on the sound quality and design because it is very subjective. I will tell you only about two objective shortcomings of the Sony wi-1000x model. 1. When I have a laptop and a phone, it is incredibly convenient when the sound goes to one headphone without any switching and poking. How, for example, is it implemented by sennheiser momentum. Sony can't do that. 2. While charging, the earbuds cannot work. If the charge in the headphones runs out, then it would be very convenient to charge them and continue to use them at the same time, as competitors can do (the same sennheiser). Sony can't do that. Summary: Sony offers a much less user-friendly product and a much more expensive one. P. S. I'm not a fan of writing, but I couldn't resist. I hope my review will help others make the right choice.

Pros
  • Large headroom
Cons
  • 1. It is not possible to connect two devices. 2. Can't work while charging
