Great for connecting up to 6 devices, with plenty of room for adaptors/transformers. When properly installed, this wall mounted faucet can be as convenient and safe as a standard duplex outlet. But proper installation can be a problem. You need to 1) remove the plug from the outlet, 2) make sure the outlet is screwed tightly into the socket (many are loose), 3) make sure the face of the outlet isn't sticking out of the drywall more than about 1/8th inches and 4) insert the faucet and secure with the center screw. If everything works, the fitting is securely installed in the spout and fits snugly against the wall surface. In many cases, however, the outlet protrudes too far from the drywall. You can install a faucet, but the edges of the faucet don't fit the wall snugly and the faucet isn't as secure. And it is troublesome to redesign the outlet and the box to sink the outlet to better accommodate the faucet. Why can't we buy a 6-way socket that completely replaces the standard duplex socket and screws directly into the wall socket?
