Review on πŸ”’ Armored Cable Lock - ONGUARD Rottweiler by Dan Venegas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Everything is good, but it's not enough for me. After a few months, a lot of rust forms, the rubber coating melts and wears out.

I like it but the only problem is that it's shorter than the original OnGuard cable lock I bought years ago that ended up breaking. I use this cable to secure my Yamaha scooter but it is barely long enough to secure through the hoop and around the bar. Several times I had to get off and push the scooter closer to the pole. It's 4 feet long, which sounds like a long time, but if you stick it through the rear wheel, you'll pull it out past the rear fender. That's all. ---------------------- -- Update: I've had this lock for about 7 months now and it's really falling apart. As another reviewer mentioned, the key parts are getting rusty! About once a month I have to clean the "male" part of the lock and pour oil in the lock to keep it closed. Otherwise it just won't close. Also, the rubber coating melts when it touches my bike's muffler. Also, the rubber just wears out in places where I bend it. look at my photos
