Would be huge for someone much smaller.
I'm size 12-14 and this cloak is even a bit big for me. The material is a little scratchy but other than that I like the pompoms that are well attached. It also has sewn hand holes which you can't tell from the pictures and I liked that. It kind of keeps the heat in, so I recommend a light color if you're going to be out in the sun. Overall happy with this last minute purchase, especially for the price. Looks like others liked it too - I counted at least 5 female versions of this cover on my cruise lol!
