Not recommended for furniture fittings

I have these glides for use under some of my larger pieces of furniture in my living room. The floor there consists of smooth stone tiles with very fine joints. I expected this product to work smoothly on such a smooth, flat surface. Man I was wrong there, not only does the slider slide hard, but the furniture even slides off. In my opinion the slider is too stiff and doesn't allow furniture to sit properly in it. The felt backing is also not as slippery on tiles as I expected, they get stuck in grout even when trying to move furniture. I would not recommend these!
