First I tried Vol. 2 version. However, when the sleeve stretched to the point where my cards began to fall out easily, I returned it for Tom. 1. Super satisfied. Of course, it's a bit thicker, since its thickness is fixed and doesn't depend on the number of cards it contains. But it holds 1, 2 or 3 cards + cash very securely no matter how many cards it has. It's all connected to the compressible padding that sits inside the card sleeve to keep your cards snug. Aside from being a wallet, this is a great case. The bumpy texture on the sides feels good in your hand, and the wallet case also doubles as a grip point for your fingers to give you a firmer grip on your phone, like things with ports that you can attach to the back of your phone. The tail is smooth so it glides over surfaces (I would have preferred a grippier tail). The side buttons are still responsive. The lip covers the edge of the phone to avoid drops on the front glass. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the rear more sticky so it doesn't slide off the dash as easily, but otherwise 5 stars.
