TLDR: Pros: Price Cons: Appropriate finish and overall quality. Remote control. The bolt's head sheared off, and even the pliers couldn't remove the remaining rod. it needs to be drilled out. The tailstock was lost and slipped but did not appear to have caused any damage. Overall fit and finish is poor. There is paint on the rails above the spray (see photos). Many casting lines are not ground off. Labels are badly attached. A 3-jaw chuck out of the box works 5-6 thousand less than measured on the outside of the chuck. I'm not sure how well it works on this part as I don't currently have a precession grind to measure with. The included tool holder is rubbish, but I plan on replacing it with a quick replacement soon. There is decent play on the dials, and the left and right main dials move the cross saddle a lot more than id (I'll probably make a reducer for that). Overall it looks like it was built with seconds/thirds of QC for various victory type clones. it will most likely require disassembly, cleaning, and the use of a paint stripper to remove at least excess paint. You'll probably need to add some new bearings and mods to make the car more accurate. If you don't mind a lot of work, with a few days of work and an additional 50-100 parts to tighten the tolerances, it can be turned into a very good car. (out of the box 3-3.5 stars, a few minor updates and most likely 4-4.5. The manufacturer simply skimped on parts and quality control)
