Bright but not too bright!

I love these little LEDs. I first bought JDM ASTAR bulbs for my license plate light on my Ford Edge but they seemed too bright - too much unnecessary light for my liking. I later found these OXILAM lightbulbs that don't have LEDs pointing directly from the base (like JDM's) so I figured they wouldn't be as bright. I tried them and was happy with the result. I would recommend them for areas where you don't necessarily need the brightest light - license plate, vanity, other small interior lights etc - but want a little more than standard incandescent bulbs.
