Great upgrade for the average home user.

This was a replacement for an older HP and as I am customizing it for the end user it looks like a good buy. The body is compact and clean and the refurbished windows look good. The included keyboard is a solid Lenovo brand, and this order from Amazon also included an unbranded wireless mouse and USB Wi-Fi dongle. I needed to add a 3.5" hard drive that was removed from the PC I was replacing. The system is designed to work with a second hard drive, but I ran into a few issues when adding one from an SSD. First, the plastic cage has sticky plastic around the knobs that hold the drive in place. The plastic peels off quickly and the buttons fall out and I have to screw the drive in. If you place a 3.5" hard drive on the top shelf where it should be, there is absolutely no room in the case for a power cable. I ended up leaving the SSD on top and putting the hard drive into the case from the bottom. Very little space for it! Some other oddities of the computer: Secure Boot was disabled in the BIOS when the computer was repaired. Nothing bad, but kinda weird. When installing the operating system, they set up a user account and pre-installed some software (Chrome, Firefox, Openoffice, etc.). I would prefer if they just left the OS fresh (no user account) when they shipped the machine, but it's no big deal to uninstall programs and create a new account. The machine has a PCI wireless adapter attached with a missing external antenna, but also has an internal antenna attached and seems to be working fine (the signal near my router was poor). For some reason they also added an unbranded USB WiFi adapter. Thanks maybe?
