the only cat scratching post my cats use
all my cats can scratch carpets! I used to try cat scratching posts from pet stores, but I never liked them. There's something about the boards' construction that they like even without the box - it's strong enough to lay flat and scratch, but not too bulky to lose its appeal. They also like the box and sometimes just jump in to sit or take a nap without scratching. The box is also great for catching catnip if you want to sprinkle it on top - I had to put it in for them to try the first time. Carpet scratches are now 90% less!
