So light boots are a must for any horse owner whose horse has lost a hoof, sometimes needs a hoof binding or has a horse whose legs need protection only occasionally, i.e. almost completely us. The problem with most lightweight boots is how to hold them on the horse's hooves. These boots work great - not only do they have a zip closure as usual but they also have velcro around the ankle which keeps the boot perfectly on the horse.
