Charged, SD card inserted, power button pressed. There was a start-up sound and the green LED lit for 3 seconds, then nothing. I pressed the reset button, no result. Connected to the computer to see if there are files to view - nothing. I went to Skype, the camera is not recognized. For €229 I expected more. Much better. Update: Insert the included SD card into my computer. The laptop recognized the card, so it doesn't look like the card is defective. Just in case, I formatted the card in the laptop and tried it in the camera - it still doesn't work. Then I put a new SD card in the camera, which I took as a backup; it still hasn't turned on. Update 2: Their support rep said they would send a new one to replace the one that failed, so I gave them 5 stars for their service response.
