This speaker replaced my shower radio/CD player. I figured a waterproof radio would do. I found this speaker and thought it would be a nice upgrade because I can listen to the radio, play music via bluetooth and also use it as a portable speaker. First thought: The instructions are a bit complicated. I had to write to the company to find out how to use the radio. (Turn on the speaker, press the center button twice, hold + to find a station). Unfortunately, the speaker lacks a decent receiver. I only fish a few stations. One of them is a decent station, not one of my favorites but I can live with that. However, when using my iPhone, iMusic, this speaker's Bluetooth was the real reason I decided to keep it. Yes, I have other Bluetooth speakers but I can't play in the shower. As for the sound, I really like it. It does its job, meets the needs and is good value for my money. UPDATE 5/24/20: I have NEVER received the free second speaker they offer for the product review.
