These new Fel-Pro seals are great, they seal very well on properly prepared surfaces. Take an extra minute to give the mating surfaces a really good clean and you won't have to think twice about doing this little fun job. Thanks for the great pad. This was installed on my 1990 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0 liter engine. A little note here from April 3rd, 2020. The thermostat housing hasn't shown any signs of leaking so I'm very impressed with the RTV designed gasket, it really does the job. Thanks again for a quality seal, you guys at Fel-Pro are the best.
