Review on πŸš— Enhance Your Vehicle's Style with Borla 20248 Exhaust Tip: A Must-Have Automotive Accessory by Jose Schweigert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good tailpipe tint

On a 2003 Avalanche 5.3 with campipes, long pipes, no coils, Flowmaster FlowFX 1-into-2-out mufflers (just like Magnaflow but cheaper) sounds pretty good as a truck, deep tone, not too loud to wake up the neighbors in the morning. But when I climb in and rev it past 3500 it gets very scratchy. It almost sounds like my truck farted. I bought them to get rid of farting noises at high RPM. You did just that. No volume change, just smoothing out the sound I already had. It's worth it. As the instructions say it is 100% welded. You can't pinch them. Spring. anything is possible lol but they fall off during the drive to the muffler shop lol the flange is not designed for clamps at all.

Pros
  • Install: Weld on
Cons
  • Almost never
