I bought this for camping. I liked the fact that it had a warm glow. Great to have before bed. He lay in a tent, read and fell asleep in a warm mode, as opposed to bright white light. Hell, I liked that there is a hook at the top and bottom and it is waterproof. Whenever I buy something for camping, I always try it at home first. I learned that lesson a long time ago. Better to test at home than in the field. I used them as bedroom lighting for a few days. The first four days worked great. Then, without warning, the bright white lights stopped working. Only warm LEDs worked. Sent it back for a replacement. The second came. I put my fully charged EBL D batteries in the flashlight. Plugged in and worked great for 10 minutes. And suddenly I heard a crack, but there was no light. I removed the diffuser and the solder wires had burn marks where they attached to the LED bulbs. After two I had enough. DO NOT BUY. I can't trust them when camping.
