Pros: This mirror feels durable. It stays in place when you position it. Surfaces are clean and spotless. It feels a bit slippery on the surface. - Slightly gummed. Cons: The shape of the magnifying page makes it difficult to find the focus point. Especially if you're trying to look at your face (for example). It has no hole in the base for wall hanging, hook or screw. The pivot points are on the long sides of the rectangle, so it's more of an up and down view than a side view. (Which I think robs it of its usefulness). I bought it to replace a mirror. The mirror he replaced had a round magnifying side. I find round preferable because of the even distortion on the sides. The zoom side of this mirror is rectangular and the distortion is somewhat uneven. All in all a good mirror. Worthy for the price.
