Great system, yes!

After a week of ownership I was convinced that I had made the right choice with this radio system. I'm not a performing musician and didn't want to spend a lot of money to be able to play/practice at home without having to deal with a guitar cable. So here are my thoughts and observations: *Price: The price of $40 is very reasonable, which means excellent value for money. * Sound Quality: I didn't notice any signal degradation at all, 100% transparent and real. .* Lag: If you are on the same roof as your gear I don't hear any lag. However, as I moved away, the latency seemed to increase in proportion to the distance, even though there was no line of sight.* Battery life: I played about 1 hour every day for a week and didn't need to charge it. Charging is easy, connect the Y-cable to both devices, they will glow amber and turn off after charging. * Operation: It's almost plug-n-play, you just need to connect the transmitter and receiver. * Build quality: I'm not so sure here. It seems built well enough to be used in the bedroom or perhaps for the occasional rehearsal, but it feels too flimsy to take the knocks or abuse that most music gear has to endure while gaming. Obviously the manufacturer wasn't targeting professional musicians, hence the price.* Compatibility: I have several guitars with passive, active EMG and piezo pickups and the system works fine with all of them.* Durability: We'll see. I haven't owned it long enough to judge. As I said above, it's only been a week since I received it and I'm very happy with the system. Whatever it is, the system does the job, it's very light, very compact and doesn't degrade or discolor the sound. I wish it was more durable, but you get what you pay for, or so they say. Update: I've added a holder for the wireless transmitter that attaches to the belt so the transmitter doesn't rotate in the guitar jack, which is a little annoying. . Now the transmitter does not bother at all, but the presence of a strap has become mandatory.
