We live on a farm so we regularly patch tires. We usually buy slime sets, they're great but expensive. This one looked similar, but not quite. Yes, they will work, but a few caveats: 1) The file on the "filer" is too smooth. I have a few others so it's not a problem for me, but using this requires reaming the whole hole a lot more than a few times to make a good cling hole. 2) The installer is too crude and subtle. I'm going to grind the tip with a fine grinder to bevel it so it doesn't cut the hoop that goes in the hoop. However, I prefer this type of tip in these kits. 3) The knife is dangerously cheap, so be careful. Blades can actually roll out. I fixed it with a light hammer blow to close the handle a bit. 4) The included pressure gauge was a nice touch but too cheap to rely on. I can get close enough to take you home, but don't count on it. 5) Vulcanizer not included. The glue on the connectors seems good, but over the past half century I have learned to always add a little bit of vulcanizing fluid and you will never have a tiny leak when repairing connectors. High quality kits always come with a small tube of it. Conclusion: This kit contains 15 repair plugs, so about a dollar per plug. Not bad and comes in a nice case that can be stored under the seat or in the tractor's toolbox. Is it worth it? If you only use them maybe once a year. If you use them a lot I don't think so. Update: The company contacted me and thanked me for the review. They said they always try to improve their products and will consider feedback and make necessary improvements. That's a great response from the company. Most of the time I listen but don't expect much. With this company, I believe they are sincere in their answer. For me that is huge. I hope you find this review helpful.
