I gave this banneton four stars instead of five because it is smaller than the size stated in the description. I also bought two round Doyolla trays which are also smaller than the description says. However, they did an excellent job on my loaves made from 100g sourdough, 450g flour, 310g water and 8g salt. The batter filled bannetons sat in the fridge all night and I was pretty sure they would overflow, but the batter really didn't rise that much in the fridge. I wish I'd actually photographed the dough *in* the baskets because it was only an inch from the top. just before going into the oven. So yes, they worked well for me with the specific Jack Bake 101 sourdough starter recipe I used.
