I use this on a motorized stand/sit desk as there are many devices (8+) that I need to connect. It is attached with two zip ties on the mounting flanges (included with the power strip) to the underside support rail of the desktop, and all of the cables are routed only a few inches to the power strip.The long cord allows the desk to move from standing to sitting and back without strain, and using the strip allows all devices to have fixed length cords from the desktop to its underside with no need for movement while keeping all of the cords neat and hidden.A perfect solution for my needs.
