This Chromebook, with its aluminum body and great specs, drew me in at first. It was better than I initially expected, with great battery life (better than my Samsung Chromebook), a great display, an aluminum body (which is still only slightly stiffer than hard plastic bodies - could definitely be better), which added to its sturdiness. , and a great backlit keyboard. A good start, but the touchscreen left something to be desired with its poor response. However, the problems started a few months later when the screen froze and locked on its own, and without warning the screen just went black - just blank. . Unrequitedly dark. It's deprecated and this pattern was sometimes repeated when I needed it to work properly for work. I love this Asus Chromebook, but unfortunately it just fell short of the mark. Great build and feel, but the internals need some work, particularly the touchscreen response and the control processor that freezes it.
