Attention buyers: New cable standard can cause errors in old electronics
1.2 , HDMI 2.0) seem to have errors. If I plug it into a monitor and let it go to sleep, it doesn't wake up for me until plugged back in or restarted. However, this error is not present with any other DP to HDMI cable that I have. I'm not 100% sure it's due to a defective cable as I don't have a second to compare it so I'll give the seller the benefit of the doubt and write it off as an idiot due to unverifiable faults on the old monitor . Bottom line: If you're using this on older electronics, be aware that it can cause errors.
