It is exceedingly difficult to find socks that my oldest daughter will tolerate. She's very, very picky when it comes to anything that goes on her feet. So typically, we find the thinnest socks that have the most stretch because she needs to be able to (in her own words), "twist my toenails" in them.When I showed her these socks, she got really excited because of the animal prints. She was positively giddy when she felt how soft they were. It's a little too warm right now to use these as they're thicker than what I had expected. So be aware that, if your kiddo's shoes are getting on the tight side, these may not work. They also have grip on the bottoms, which as its pluses and minuses. On the plus side, they'll reduce the chance of slipping while running around hardwood floors. But they're a bear to slip into shoes unless you have the kind which open up completely.I did notice that several of these socks had loose threads coming off of them. Some were very, very loose. A couple minutes with a good pair of scissors took care of that. But the the fabric, while extremely soft, also makes it feel like the weave is very loose and could wear out quickly. They're also a bit linty so I'd suggest washing them inside-out as soon as you get them.I'm obviously not qualified to write a review from the first-person perspective. And I'm not entirely convinced they'll last. But hey, any parent with a kid around these ages knows that most clothing items last one season before you donate or give them away. Based on my daughter's reaction and her willingness to put them on, I'd say they're worthy.
