Resistors worked as advertised. You will need to print out the instructions to ensure you have installed them correctly for your vehicle make/model/year. I found mine easily and then connected them. I think they may include general installation instructions for use with traditional turn signals or combination DRLs and turn signals (two-wire or three-wire connection). You'll need to make sure you fully engage the connector with a pair of vises, but be careful. In order not to break the connectors, also check their seating, then make the connections, check the correct operation of the indicators and daytime running lights before installing the lamp housings. Finally, make sure the resistors aren't touching any other plastic or wires as they get very hot!
