Update: I was able to replace the cable with a new one that is much more stable at 5120x1440 at 120Hz. Thanks Adorin! While the product I received is good looked and seemed reliable, it can't handle really high bandwidth usage. Before dropping the refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz, I experienced screen tearing, artifacts, and sometimes a complete loss of signal. I tried to keep the cable away from other potential sources of interference, by running it across the middle of the room, no change I ended up trying to use the previously used cable which is too short to work properly for the current room configuration and without changing the settings on the monitor or PC, I was able to play at 120Hz with no issues.On the market for a 25ft cable that is actually 8k capable would be e I look elsewhere.
