I bought this monopod for two reasons. First: I needed a monopod. Second, I needed a monopod for a trip to Yellowstone, Zion, and the Grand Canyon. I can say I put this thing to the test quite a bit and it held up in all use cases. I hate to say this but I really feel like I overused it just to see how good it is and this thing was very well made. I've even used it to hold my camera in a river in Zion National Park. Despite its use and abuse, everything still works great. No scratches or broken parts. Everything still looks new. I've also received many compliments as many people have admired the look and feel. I liked how stable it is even when fully extended. I would recommend this item to anyone looking to buy a monopod despite its price.
