This size should have fit my son judging from the size chart but it was too small for him. The hat is good quality and I liked the thickness of the brim. However, there didn't seem to be good ventilation, which would have been a big problem on those hot summer days. I thought about keeping the hat for my son to wear in spring and fall as he needs outerwear for medical reasons but decided to return it as it didn't have room to grow. A good quality hat if the size is right for your child.
