I have 3 Christmas trees, 8ft, 7ft and 6ft and I was very happy to be able to get a custom fit for each tree. I used 9 for the small tree, 10 for the medium tree, and 11 for the largest tree. Despite being only plastic they looked pretty good and it was a bonus that they kept my cats from sitting right under the trees. The assembly instructions weren't particularly clear, but they were easy enough to put together and easy to take apart. storage too.
