Works as expected, USB 3.0 transfers files fast
But I'm worried about how hot this thing gets. The last SanDisk product I had (a 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive) broke after excessive heat during transfer. He left the stick in read-only mode after only about a year of use. They need to figure out the best way to dissipate the heat in these sticks. Hope this one doesn't die! In this case, I just have to keep using my 2TB external drive as it continues to work without any problems. Before you say anything, I live in Minnesota and the previous flash drive was slowing down when heating up, so I just paused the transfer and put the flash drive on the window to let it cool down. Keep in mind this is in winter when it's 20 degrees outside on a good day.
