
You can't go wrong with OEM. I've followed Cliffs' advice and can say that this is definitely possible without removing the output drive. A little difficult, but not bad at all. Be sure to use bellows adhesive. After the repair I threw it in the lake to check for leaks and not a single drop (the previous boot was torn). I expect this will take a while as I have a boat with a trailer. The original lasted 13 years.
