Although the bulbs are bright enough to be used as backup or reverse lights, the installation was not easy as I hoped. I accidentally used a template to cut out holes for them. Then I had to do it a second time because the template doesn't match anywhere. The template couldn't even be used if you put it behind the would mount plate.No matter bumper or otherwise.The size of the template doesn't even match the size of the clear lens itself,and there is also a ridge around the clear lens.When you order, do yourself a favor and create your own mounting template.
