My autistic 4 year old is obsessed with screwing and unscrewing things and removing/changing batteries (although he doesn't need new batteries for anything). I bought this little set of bolts and screws for two reasons. First, to channel some of his natural desire to take things apart and put them back together into something more appropriate, and second, as a SILENT activity that we could easily take to church and keep his hands busy there. packed up. I love that they come with a drawstring pouch. It was very convenient! The nuts and bolts are well made, they are a good size and easy to use with small hands. I could see that even the younger ones enjoy chewing on them (although they are hard plastic) as they are too big to choke on. I think it's great that in addition to matching colors, there was also a matching shape in each case. The only thing I wish there were more of these because my son makes them all so quickly! This is a really cute and well made set and I'm glad I bought it! I did NOT receive this item for free or at a discount.
