Review on 🏠 Hape Furniture Accessories Reversible for Dollhouses by Daniel Delgado

I bought this this year as a Christmas present for my daughter (she will be 3 in a few months and is not very rough with toys like this) and we are very happy with the purchase. It took some effort to put together - it's not that easy - but it was quite doable for two people working together. No worse than many IKEA furniture! :) Other reviewers have noted that flimsy floor detail could mean it is not a dollhouse family heirloom. Honestly I don't see this as a problem unless your child likes tossing dolls and accessories on the floor as hard as possible. Other than that I can see it's solid as some kids play as the frame and accessories are very solid and hold together really well. We removed a few accessories before giving them to our daughter (duck, towels, pots and pans etc) and gave them to her in a couple of years. She has been playing with it every day since she got it and I think it will stay that way for a long time! and the Plan Toys family of contemporary dolls. I didn't get Hape because I really like the idea of including grandparents in the set, but there isn't a bedroom set for them and I've seen it be annoying for older kids. In retrospect, however, I had to reach out to the Hape family for two reasons. 1. The Plan Toys family is a bit bigger. In most cases it doesn't matter too much, but the adults in the Plan Toys family are too big to fit in the shower that comes with this dollhouse. 2. We have a wooden barn and we could let grandparents live on the farm. :) Anyway, I don't care since she mainly uses the Calico Critters family of hamsters, which she got from her aunt as a resident of the house. (And in case someone already has Calico Critters in their home but doesn't have a home for them - they go perfectly with all the furniture in this house!)
