Love this item. I bought 3, one for my sister, 1 for me on the patio and 1 for a guest. Ots is HOT in Florida and my patio gets morning sun and even though I have UV protection to block direct heat the temperatures are still hot. I can sit outside and have coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening and it keeps me totally cool. It really works! I can't live without it so I'll buy another one as a backup. A few Tipps. directions in chinese with pics.very strange but thats what i know. There's a clear tube on the side that looks like the watermark is low, but it's the plastic case that you see through the tube. Look closely and you will see real water. If necessary, poke your finger in the tube so you can see it. Once you get used to it you will know how much water is in it. First I poured tons of water down the well thinking the water mark was low. That's when I realized when the device overflowed that I was looking in the wrong place in the transparent tube. I saw the plastic case, not the actual water level, which was much higher in the clear tube. DO NOT TURN ON YOUR SIDE OR DRAIN WATER. You short-circuit the device. Pull out the clear plastic hose from the drain side. It's very easy to do, but at first I thought the hose hidden on the side was a continuous hose, so I didn't want to pull on it. See photo. Finally, my clothes get wet on one of my devices and I sit very close, which I do because I like the coolness. Trust me it looks like your clothes will be wet but as soon as I walk in I don't notice anything at all and I hate wet clothes and after a few minutes the clothes are completely dry and I don't know even notice or think about it. I use the bottom test bench when it's used up, if I'm still using it. Works great. Just plug it in and I'll have an air cooler until I'm ready to go in and charge it from an outlet. I can not live without her.
