Review on Sanuk Kids Boy's Cozy Root Beer Sandal (Little Kid/Big Kid) by Frank Ridl

Not what they were before

A few years ago I had a pair of toddler Sanuk sandals which were velcro flip flops and they were perfect for those chunky little feet! I couldn't find them anymore so they seemed like the only option for Sanuk toddlers. My mother-in-law got me two pairs for my two younger sons. I like that they have an elastic band at the back to hold them up. Unfortunately, no one thought about the size of the baby's foot. The length doesn't matter if you can't fit your foot in it. I bought these (7/8) for my 3 year old with size 7-8 shoes. If you bring the back to his leg they might look like they fit, but he can't even squeeze his foot through the strap! I tried them on my adolescent 2 year old with size 5-6 shoes. I can barely reach his fingers on the thong. These flip flops are Sanuk's worst product. Sanuk, please go back to toddler black velcro flip flops.

Pros
  • gift for nephew
Cons
  • We liked it at first, but after only a few months of wearing, the top layer of the straps started peeling off.
