Review on πŸ“Ί 75-Inch Hisense U7G Quantum Dot QLED Series Android 4K Smart TV with Alexa Compatibility by Jason Camarillo

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Image quality rivals Q80 in black color and brightness levels BUT apps are a nightmare with bugs

UPDATE – Hisense TV is still great BUT apps (Sling, Netflix, Apple TV) are very buggy and fly all out day the TV restarts on the screen with the Hisense logo! Had to downgrade it to 2 stars because it is totally unacceptable. I called Hisense support and they took a long time to answer and the phone system is a nightmare. The solution is to restart the TV, delete all installed apps and force me to re-enter each app. Forget it. They eventually agreed to update the software, but not directly. You want to, that I provide a special USB drive and install the firmware myself. Forget it, I don't even have a USB stick anymore! My solution is to use Roku 4K+ for $39, it works fine. There are no more problems and the image quality has improved significantly. This TV is great, but the apps suck. The OS seems stable (no more reboots when using Roku 4K+. This TV is amazing, other reviews just don't describe the U7G accurately. I also have a Q80 70" in my living room and it's the best TV picture, I've ever seen, and it's way brighter than my neighbor's OLED 65". Watching Netflix 4K Ultra HD, Sling HD, HBO Max 4k, I can honestly say, that the picture quality on this U7G is almost the same. It's amazing, just like the Q80, and the black levels are really comparable too. Image sharpness is fantastic and almost identical to the Q80 too. Movement is great too, the native 120Hz panel is amazing. in sports, news tickers, race car scenes, etc. and they're all amazing. This U7G is an amazing product considering the price. Interestingly, since I placed my order a week ago, the price has increased by nearly $200. The U7G is also worth its money for the higher price. The picture is everything and the picture is really great on this TV and almost as great on the Q80! I would also like to comment on the Google TV interface, I'm an iPhone user, but the U7G interface is very fast and easy to use. In fact, I prefer it to my other TVs. The remote control is great too, the voice recognition function works well, and I like the easy-to-use LG buttons. I think the packaging also deserves a mention - the box is of course large and very well designed. Easy to open and the TV is very carefully packaged with lots of extra protection and cellophane around the frame and all around the edge of the screen to prevent damage. That's great.
