They don't have the "flat" frequency response of my very old Westone UM2s and are a bit larger so not as comfortable. However, the cost per dollar amount is no comparison. They easily tolerate high sound pressure levels. I use them both for home practice and as in-ear monitors in my church worship group and they deliver a very good sound. My biggest complaint is that the shaft that the silicone tips fit is oval and larger than Westone or Shure, so regular Comply or other silicone tips will not fit.
