If you test RF attenuation with a meter like the Safe & Sound Pro II, you'll find that even a single layer of this fabric placed over and under the meter will produce a significant reduction. My meter went from "moderate" to flashing green, which the manual says is "best/ideal". (The fabric lets through enough light that you can still see the light on the counter.) Overall this fabric seems like good value for the money. Using a cell phone to test attenuation is not a good method. The phone automatically increases power to compensate for attenuation.
