Well invested! I had to improvise with other screws, the ones provided were too short for my optical disc to floppy conversion bracket. Be careful though, it's easy to insert the carriage the wrong way around and damage it when trying to close the lever. This is a solid build, but it's not reliable. Quality for the price makes me buy bigger RAID options and I don't need RAID. The activity lights work, but only for drives that support it, e.g. B. My $25 SDD doesn't work, but a 1TB Seagate hard drive does. ALSO if you have a Seagate 1TB hard drive but use 1 platter (super thin) it's garbage. Model SDC001. Guess it took me 5 seconds to unlock the drive and take it out of my computer to read the model number. Here, look how I put it back. HA! Took 3 seconds because I didn't block it. Words cannot describe how luxurious this is. Removing a drive from any PC should be this easy. I have to constantly unmount or eject the drive, usually to install an operating system, and I don't want to have boot sectors written to my personal drive. THIS HAS happened despite your best efforts and can really ruin your day. Now I need more caddies.
