I bought this product with the intention of simply using it as a display piece on my mantelpiece. This rating is based on my not using coasters and "cup holders". I think it's great and exactly what I wanted. It's heavy and looks expensive. The only downside is that it can easily break, especially during transport. Although the item was well packaged, it was still slightly damaged. The end of the oar Mama Bear was holding was broken. It was a pretty clean break and the portion was in a box. Decided to stick with the reset vise. I figured it was fixable and not worth the risk of going back and getting another version with worse damage. Can't say I had to put it back on to live with it. Just be aware that it can be damaged.
