Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Stretching Canvas with Spring Return Handle: Canvas Pliers – Perfect Painting Tool for Clamping, Stretching, and Hailing Art Oil Paintings by Tara Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tool for stretching the canvas without tearing the material.

Very easy to use for stretching canvases. Having pulled 7-8 large canvases for the house, I wondered how I could live without this tool. My original canvas chuck was all metal with metal jaws. I tore a few canvases, but nothing serious. However, this was annoying. Now there are no more tears and the rubber jaws provide a secure grip that requires less effort to hold the canvas securely between the jaws. My only complaint is the spring that fits between the pincer handles; It is not attached to the metal and easily breaks off the protruding pins. Despite this lack

Pros
  • Ideal for the studio or classroom and for stretching large canvases
Cons
  • Some little things
