May have ruined my $250 boots

I just bought this. I put the plugs in, stuck it in my boot, and wound it open until it was tight, as per the directions. All seemed fine. Let my boot sit for a day, then went to take it out, and the thing WON'T CLOSE. I twist it and it does nothing, and it's in too tight that I can't just pull it out of my boot- so it is STUCK in my boot! Brand new $250 boots! They may just be ruined! And I couldn't even find anywhere on here to just contact the seller about this, so I'm posting here.
