#1) not in the box, that should have been my first clue that they were cheaply made#2) some of the edges are dull making it difficult to hitting the wall#3) The area where you hang the picture is sharp. Be careful. This area should not be sharp. I have used such famous nail hooks and am delighted with it. They are the best but due to COVID many shelves are empty. I'll probably donate them and order monkey hooks instead. Always stick with the brand that works best. lesson learned
